Jorge and his team helped us remodel pre-pandemic and did a fanstastic job. Work involved kitchen/dining room with some structural work and involved pulling electrical/pluming/structural/range hood permits. Went about as smoothly as could be expected, and we loved the results.

Jorge and crew have completed a number of jobs for us and we’d hire no one else. Most recently he enlarged a closet on the main floor for a new washer/ dryer combo. Previously we had to go outside to access the ground level laundry room. Laundry day has become soooo much easier. JEM also created at small bath including shower for our ground level for our guest room. Visitors have been very happy with the upgrade. I have referred Jorge to many of our neighbors when they have been looking for a contractor.

Best builders in the business. Jorge and his team have worked on several major projects for me. I did a complete “fixer upper” type project in the Temescal and started with another contractor. After a horrible experience, I shifted to Jorge and have never used anyone else since. Bathroom demo and major renovation, building decks, replacing fences, living room and bedroom remodels. You name it, Jorge always does flawless work and does it the way you want it done!! He’s honest and fair. And I love his work!

JEM 's work is impeccable. They come on time and give you a full days work. I've used them from everything to major structural repair due to water damage , full kitchen remodel , paint and restoration of my Victorian . Jorge is professional , and will work with you every step of the way. No job is to small for Jorge and crew. Si quieres lo mejor olvida el resto !

Jorge and team took on a full bathroom renovation for us. Experience was everything you want (and often don't get) from a contractor. Great communication. Showed up on time every day. Great attention to detail and actively managed subcontractors. Bathroom looks great and I will definitely use JEM General Builders for any future projects.

Jorge supervised our complete kitchen remodel over the summer of 2025. I wanted to hire him for this job because he was so detail oriented, timely and reliable when he installed new windows for us. I was not disappointed in the least! Jorge is meticulous about getting every last detail right. And he made every single day count--there was always at least one person working to get us an unbelievably beautiful kitchen! The work pace never flagged for ten whole weeks. I would not hire anyone except for Jorge to work on my craftsman house. He is a rare craftsman himself.

Jorge has worked on a couple of projects for us so far, including installing a range hood in our kitchen, updating some gas lines, and installing bollards. He’s really helpful, friendly, easy to communicate and schedule with and does great quality work. I’ll definitely be calling him again!
